Just an hour from Marbella, you’ll find LA Organic in Ronda. If you’re a fan of picturesque landscapes, curvy mountain roads, and exquisite olive oil, then buckle up because this is a journey you’ll want to take!
The Scenic Drive
The adventure began with a drive through the mountains of Ronda. Imagine winding roads that twist and turn, each curve revealing stunning vistas of rolling hills, lush greenery, and the occasional quaint farmhouse. The drive alone is worth the trip, offering a sneak peek into the natural beauty that awaits.

Arrival at LA Organic
Arriving at LA Organic felt like stepping into a serene oasis. Nestled amidst the verdant hills, the estate is a sight to behold. The landscape is dotted with olive trees, each one a testament to the rich agricultural heritage of the region. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a short movie that told the background story of LA Organic.

The Tour
After the movie, we ventured into the fields, walking through the olive trees and other greenery while listening to captivating stories about the history and cultivation of these beautiful plants. The blend of nature and storytelling made the experience truly immersive.
And just when you think it can’t get any better, LA Organic has another surprise in store: LA Almazara. Following the example of great wineries and vineyards that tell the story behind their exquisite wines, LA Almazara, designed by the visionary Philippe Starck, who is also a co-founder and the creative director of LA Organic, is set to open this July. This space is a tribute to Andalusia and its rich culture. Part museum, part cultural center, and part mill, it will fuse Spanish artistic culture with the ancient craft of olive oil production. As Starck describes, “La Almazara is a reflection of Andalusia: austere, rigorous, authentic, exaggerated, extreme, timeless, strong, spiritual, and passionate.”

The Olive Oil Tasting
Now, let’s talk about the star of the show – the olive oil. LA Organic’s olive oil is nothing short of liquid gold. After our tour through the fields, we went inside for an olive oil tasting. Each tasting note was a revelation, ranging from smooth and buttery to bold and peppery, each one more delightful than the last. It’s no surprise they’ve won numerous prizes; the quality and craftsmanship are evident in every drop.
And if all that tasting works up an appetite, you’re in luck! It’s possible to have lunch at the venue, where they serve delicious, typical Spanish tapas.
